Welcome to the Growing a Community Garden Digital Library

The GCG is an organic collection of resources culled from experienced gardeners, agricultural extension stations, USDA sites, and other knowledgeable sources. The CGC is for New Englanders  who like to get their hands dirty and grow some tasty veggies for their family and their community.

Currently there are five collections:

             What is a Community Garden?
             Planning a Community Garden
Weeding, Watering and What to Grow
Brief History of a Community Garden
Best Vegetable Cooking Blogs of 2012

There can be no other occupation like gardening in which, if you were to creep up behind someone at their work, you would find them smiling. ~Mirabel Osler

Happy Gardening!
